MARIKA ROSSA PRESENTS ‘CONNECT’: A GLOBAL NETWORK BORN FROM THE UNDERGROUND
The Ukrainian artist and producer launches a new project built around international collaboration, creative freedom and connections between artists from the global techno scene.
Underground culture has always found in music a universal language capable of breaking down borders. From this philosophy comes CONNECT, the new project launched by Marika Rossa following the creation of her label SweetHard — an initiative placing one of the scene’s most important values at its centre: community.
CONNECT is built around a clear idea: bringing artists from different countries and scenes together through music, turning every release into a meeting point between cultures, experiences and different approaches to techno.
More than simply a series of collaborations, the project aims to progressively build an international network of artists connected by the same spirit, where cooperation takes priority over competition and creative freedom becomes the driving force.
FROM COLLABORATION TO GLOBAL CONNECTION
Marika Rossa has already begun building this international network alongside artists from different parts of the techno scene.
Among the first collaborations are Helen Frey from France, Angy Kore from Italy, SAMDMA from Austria and Marie Vaunt from the United States.
Different territories and different artistic identities come together to represent the very essence of CONNECT: different scenes, different stories and one universal language.
The project’s first release features Helen Frey & Marika Rossa with Rave Machine, officially marking the beginning of this new chapter.
‘Rave Machine’ is set for release on July 17 through SweetHard.
A PHILOSOPHY BEYOND COMPETITION
CONNECT is built around four fundamental principles: collaboration, creative freedom, human connection and underground culture.
At a time when the music industry is increasingly driven by speed, exposure and competition, the project offers a different perspective. Electronic music becomes a space to meet, exchange ideas and create something collectively.
CONNECT is ultimately built around a simple question:
What happens when we stop competing and start connecting?
The answer can be found in every collaboration.
EVERY TRACK, A BRIDGE BETWEEN SCENES
Each CONNECT release represents much more than bringing two artists together in the studio.
Every track becomes a bridge between countries, cultures, experiences and scenes, allowing different realities to find common ground through sound.
The idea is for that connection to go beyond the release itself — generating new opportunities, new relationships and new creative paths.
A network that grows with every artist who becomes part of it.
THE CONNECT MANIFESTO
The project also emerges as a statement of intent at a time when the world continues to be shaped by division, conflict and constant noise.
Against that backdrop, CONNECT celebrates the ability of underground music to bring together people who might otherwise never cross paths.
Producers, DJs, artists, promoters and audiences all share the same connection when the music starts playing.
It doesn’t matter where you come from.
It doesn’t matter what language you speak.
It doesn’t matter what scene you represent.
Sound speaks for everyone.
A SIGNAL DESIGNED TO SPREAD
Every collaboration becomes a new signal within a network designed to grow internationally.
Marika Rossa’s vision is for CONNECT to inspire new collaborations and create opportunities for artists from different territories, developing a movement based on cooperation and the spirit of underground culture.
Because the connection doesn’t end with a release.
It spreads.
And that is the purpose of CONNECT: to build a global community of artists who believe in creative freedom, human connection and the power of underground music.
One network.
One language.
One community.
CONNECT.
