Apple Music has unveiled a new collection of exclusive Pride DJ Mixes, celebrating the artists, communities, and dance floors that have helped shape LGBTQ+ culture across the globe. Available exclusively through Apple Music’s dedicated Pride space from June 5, the initiative brings together a diverse selection of artists who explore the deep-rooted connection between queer communities and electronic music culture.

The first wave of mixes features contributions from Scissor Sisters, Juliana Huxtable, Shea Couleé, and Shaun Ross, each offering a unique musical perspective on Pride through a journey that spans house, techno, pop, R&B, and contemporary club sounds.

The collection arrives as part of Apple Music’s ongoing commitment to highlighting LGBTQ+ voices throughout the year. Alongside the mixes, Apple Music Radio will host a series of special Pride Month broadcasts, including exclusive takeovers from acclaimed songwriter and artist Justin Tranter and singer-songwriter Fancy Hagood.

One of the most anticipated contributions comes from Scissor Sisters, who deliver a high-energy mix designed for the peak moments of Pride celebrations. The set includes the newly released version of the iconic anthem “Let’s Have a Kiki”, reimagined by VNSSA and Lushious Massacr featuring vocals from Trixie Mattel. The release coincides with an exciting new chapter for the band, which is currently working on its first new music in fourteen years following its return to touring in 2025.

Meanwhile, artist, actor and model Shaun Ross draws inspiration from the legendary New York club scene, channeling the spirit of iconic venues such as The Shelter, Zanzibar, Limelight and Tunnel. His mix seeks to recreate the sense of freedom, expression and community that defined those historic dance floors.

Artist, DJ and author Juliana Huxtable takes listeners into the late-night hours with a dynamic selection of techno, house and breakbeat-driven sounds. Her contribution captures the immersive energy of queer club culture, transporting audiences to packed dance floors from New York to Berlin and beyond.

Completing the launch collection, Shea Couleé pays tribute to Chicago’s influential house music legacy. Blending classic house grooves with contemporary club sounds, the mix reflects the city’s enduring impact on queer nightlife and dance music culture. Among the highlights is Derrick Carter’s remix of Couleé’s track “Cocky”, a personal favorite and a celebration of Chicago’s vibrant LGBTQ+ community.

Throughout Pride Month, all mixes will also be broadcast via Apple Music Club, further reinforcing Apple Music’s position as one of the leading destinations for DJ mixes and electronic music programming worldwide.
